Soft-Shell Crab Month at 51 Lincoln; Merroir & Terroir

NEWTON HIGHLANDS — For the seventh year, 51 Lincoln is celebrating the fleeting soft-shell crab season with a whole month of daily specials. The festivities kick off this Thursday, May 1 with a soft-shell crab BLT with basil aioli and spiced potato chips. NORTH END — Taste the North End this Friday, May 2, at Taste of the North End, taking place at DCR's Steriti Memorial Rink. NESN's Dining Playbook co-host Billy Costa will be master of ceremonies. Your $99 ticket gains you access to food and wine from over 40 area vendors, and proceeds from the event support North End Waterfront Health, as well as neighborhood schools and recreation centers. KENMORE SQUARE — It's time once again for Island Creek Oyster Bar's quarterly Merroir & Terroir event, an educational (and delicious) look at oyster and wine culture.
