Earlier this month, Taste Savant CEO Sonia Kapadia chatted with Eater about what sets her restaurant discovery tool apart from others in a "really saturated" market and why she chose Boston as one of the early cities in which to launch Taste Savant. At that point, Taste Savant was just available on the web, but now it has officially launched as an iOS app, so you can now get your curated Boston restaurant recommendations on the go.
Mobile features include finding the highest-rated restaurants near your current location, reading reviews from curated sources like chefs and critics (as well as your own friends), checking out menus, ordering delivery, making reservations, and more. Several Boston-area chefs, including L'Espalier's Frank McClelland and West Bridge's Matthew Gaudet, have gotten involved with Taste Savant by reviewing their favorite local spots.
