Union Square Donuts Moves to Third Union Square Spot

It all started at a tiny shared space, Kitchen Inc., across from Target on the outskirts of Somerville's Union Square. Then, Union Square Donuts quickly moved to a larger shared space, Cafe Tango, at 16 Bow Street on the other side of the square. Finally, the growing donut business is getting its very own space just a few doors down from Cafe Tango, taking over 20 Bow Street. This move will bring about "extended days/hours, an expanded menu, daily specials, and of course lots and lots of delicious handmade donuts," according to the shop's Facebook page, and they'll continue to operate out of the Cafe Tango space during the buildout.

Currently, Union Square Donuts is only open Thursday through Sunday (7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Thursdays and Fridays; 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays). They can also be found at a variety of regular pop-ups and farmers' markets.
