No Homage Bistro at Ten Tables; Ramen Ramen Ramen

CAMBRIDGE — Turns out Homage Bistro is not taking over the Ten Tables space in Cambridge after all, reports Boston Restaurant Talk, pointing to the upcoming restaurant's Facebook page. "Unfortunately our location in Cambridge did not work out," posted Homage Bistro. "We still want to move ahead and will do so once the perfect location for Homage Bistro presents itself. What town, city or square do you think is lacking a great farm-to-fork bistro?" [BRT/FB]

HUB-WIDE — Boston Magazine highlights the growing amount of good ramen in the Boston area with a ramen "calendar," showing how you could eat at least three meals of ramen a day for a full week without repeating anything. Monday, for example, includes lunch at Pikaichi in Allston, dinner at Sweet Cheeks (between 9 p.m. and 10 p.m.), and a late-night bowl at Sycamore in Newton. [BM]

SOMERVILLE — Massachusetts' best regional dessert is the Boston cream pie, according to Conde Nast Traveler, which features Union Square Donuts' Boston cream pie donut as an iteration that "vastly improves upon the sometimes cloying cake." [CN]
