Tasty Burger Could Open in Back Bay Station

The next Tasty Burger could open right in Back Bay Station, according to an agenda for a Boston licensing hearing taking place next week. West Roxbury's Parlor Pizza is seeking to transfer its liquor license to a Tasty Burger that would have entrances on Dartmouth Street as well as the rear of the station, plus a 30-seat patio on Dartmouth Street. The restaurant is seeking a 2 a.m. closing time (11 p.m. for the patio). Tasty Burger currently has full-service locations in Fenway and Harvard Square and a take-out spot in Southie, and the restaurant also vends within Fenway Park. Another location was previously slated for the Lyndell's Bakery space just outside of Central Square, but neighborhood opposition blocked a liquor license, which was a deal-breaker.

UPDATE: An earlier article from the Globe confirms that the mini-chain is indeed looking to open in Back Bay Station later this summer.
