THEATRE DISTRICT — Drink Craft Beer Springfest ("a celebration of hops") takes place on Friday, April 11 and Saturday, April 12 at Space 57. 25 local craft brewers will be sampling more than 80 of their brews, particularly hoppy ones. Some food vendors will also be on site. Tickets start at $50. [Eventbrite]

BROOKLINE — The Boston restaurant landscape has been pretty quiet on the April Fools' Day front, but a couple of tipsters spotted a fun flyer on a building in Brookline advertising an alleged new venue called "Todd English's Toast." It's "coming soon," offering such delicacies as a "premium tasting bar," "wide selection of artisanal breads," "organic butter with natural infusions," "browning finish levels to taste," and more.
