Bricco Salumeria and Pasta Shoppe is now open in the North End, just off of Hanover Street and next to its sister bakery, Bricco Panetteria. It's the latest addition to Frank DePasquale's growing empire, which includes Bricco, Mare Oyster Bar, Quattro, and Trattoria Il Panino, all in the North End, and it serves as an expanded replacement for the former DePasquale's Homemade Pasta Shoppe.
The shop includes a large selection of fresh pastas, cured meats, cheeses, and Italian imports, and there's also a sandwich menu. NorthEndWaterfront.com shares some photos of the space (and of the making of fresh mozzarella). Bricco Salumeria and Pasta Shoppe is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. every day.
