Acqua (or Aqua) Wants More Space

Acqua Seafood and Grill, or Aqua, as it's spelled in some licensing documents, is taking over the former Ida's space on Mechanic Court in the North End, as reported a few months back. It's a new venture from Frank DePasquale.

According to NorthEndWaterfront.com, DePasquale now wants to take over one of the first-floor apartments in the seven-apartment building to allow for restaurant bathrooms with handicap accessibility. This will also add 22 indoor seats to the restaurant, which could have a 48-seat outdoor patio. No word yet on an opening timeline.
