For his monthly review in Boston Magazine, Corby Kummer takes on Sarma in Somerville and finds that its "thrills far outweigh its flaws, especially if you sit in the bar area." There were some dishes that were "capsized by such creamy sauces," and others suffered from "sameness" or unappealing serving temperatures, but there were so many successes and so much to explore that soon Sarma "will be on every diner's map."
