INMAN SQUARE — Tomorrow night (Wednesday, March 26), Puritan & Co. pays tribute to Julia Child with a family-style menu made up of some of her favorite dishes, including salmon mousse, vichyssoise, and baked alaska. Reservations are available between 5:30 p.m. and 10 p.m.; call (617)-615-6195. $75/person. [Official Site]
FORT POINT — Zagat shares an early look at the menu for Bastille Kitchen, one of the biggest upcoming openings — literally big, in terms of space: 11,000 square feet and 300 seats. On the raw side, there are things like local oysters, octopus "ceviche," and house-cured salmon. Entrees include short rib wellington with foie gras, a roast lamb shank, and a pork chop au poivre. HUB-WIDE — The Huffington Post is not impressed by Dunkin' Donuts' spring coffee flavors — coconut, toasted, almond, and the worst, peach cobbler, which "smelled like peach gummy candies and tasted worse." Happy spring. [HP via BostInno]
