The shuttered Chez Henri, missed by many longtime fans, popped up at Mariposa Bakery for a recent event that went so well, it'll now turn into a monthly series. Next up: a feast on the eve of St. Patrick's Day, this Sunday, March 16, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Attendees will listen to Irish jigs while dining on Chez Henri chef/owner Paul O'Connell's "famous veal brisket pastrami style," as well as conch fritters with guava barbecue sauce, spinach and goat cheese empanadas, spring onion soup with baby Swiss, Chez Henri's legendary Cuban sandwich, a roasted vegetable Cuban sandwich, and Cuban shrimp cocktail. Call 617-642-1722 to reserve a spot. To-go orders are also available.
