Hops N Scotch has been approved to grab the liquor license from Haveli in Inman Square, co-owner Darren Tow tells Eater, making way for the restaurant's expansion from Coolidge Corner.
The original location opened in August 2012 from the team behind the nearby Coolidge Corner Wine and Spirits, featuring a large selection of craft beers and whiskeys (hence the name). The drinks sneak into some of the food as well — house-made beer bread, chicken wings with bourbon barbecue sauce, beer-braised short ribs, and the like. No word yet on whether the new location will have the same menu or when it will open.
