Lucien Robert, who brought fine French cuisine to Boston in the 1970s with the opening of Maison Robert, has passed away at 87. Robert was instrumental in helping along the careers of some notable Boston chefs, including his own nephew Jacky Robert (who runs Petit Robert Bistro, which has multiple locations around town) and Lydia Shire.
