Fortissimo Coffeehouse, a small cafe in Somerville's Union Square, is now under new ownership with extended hours (7 a.m. - 7 p.m.) and a revamped menu. The Portuguese influence is still present with a variety of cheese breads and treats like dulce de leche pancakes, but something new and intriguing has appeared on the menu: "Azzura chicken lasagna."
There's also a selection of panini and wraps, omelettes, soups, and salads. Fortissimo offers free Wi-Fi, tables big enough to set up your whole office, and a variety of caffeinated beverages to accompany your lasagna or chicken parm panini. In the dessert case: carrot guava cake, corn cocoa cake, dulce de leche rolls, and more.
