Ernesto's, a Noth End pizza shop that has been well-loved for two decades, is expanding to Somerville, according to a rep. It will join the growing group of restaurants that will open this spring and summer at Assembly Row. Other upcoming openings at the new development include J.P. Licks, Canadian chain Earls Kitchen and Bar, Papagayo, and Legal C Bar.
"It's a lot like being in the North End, because you have that same mix," owner Anthony Radzikowski told Somerville Patch about the upcoming expansion to Assembly Row. "Whether you live there, whether you work there, whether you're shopping there, whether you're a tourist, it's like its own little city within the city of Somerville." Ernesto's is known for its giant slices, which are literally a quarter of a pizza.
