Keenan Langlois is taking over as executive chef at The Sinclair in Harvard Square, according to a press release. He comes by way of a long line of area restaurants, including Union Bar and Grille (which is closing at the end of the year), Lumière, Hamersley's Bistro, Granary Tavern, and 5 Corners Kitchen, among others.
According to the release, he's revamping the menu to add some very New England-y dishes like a Yankee pot roast (braised short rib, pearl onions, peas, Parisienne potatoes) and a fisherman's stew (fish, shellfish, lobster broth, potato, fennel, saffron aioli).
Meanwhile, The Sinclair's outgoing executive chef, Matt Cunningham, is building up Farmhouse, his new pop-up. His first two dinners sold out, and tickets are now on sale for the third, taking place at Merrill & Co. on December 16.
