A restaurant and club called Studio Manta could open at 577 Massachusetts Avenue in Cambridge's Central Square, according to a public notice. Sarabjeet Pabla is listed as a manager; she also appears to be an owner of Shalimar, located nearby.
If all is approved, Studio Manta would have a full liquor license and remain open until 1 a.m. Sunday through Wednesday and 2 a.m. Thursday through Saturday. There'd be an 82-seat dining room and bar as well as live music and dancing (because yes, you need a specific permit for customers to be allowed to dance).
