Sandrine's Bistro Will Get a New Name to Go With New Owner

Sandrine's Bistro, a French restaurant in Harvard Square, is coming under the ownership of Pierre Honegger, owner of La Voile in Back Bay, as previously reported. Now, the Globe learns that this change means a new name for Sandrine's: La Voile Cambridge. The rebranded restaurant will reportedly debut in late January.

Over the weekend, Sandrine's co-owner Gwen Trost posted the following on the restaurant's Facebook page:

"We do not know when the takeover will happen. We have had a wonderful 18 years in Harvard Square and can't thank everyone enough! Our staff especially. They are a dream team and I know La Voile will keep them employed which is what's most important to Amy and I. Although it is uncertain if Amy and I will be retained we still wish them the utmost success!"
