The new Barrington Coffee Roasting Company cafe is now officially open, according to a post on Facebook. The company's roasting facility is in the Berkshires, and they have a popular cafe on Congress Street in Fort Point. The new addition to the family is located at 303 Newbury Street in Back Bay.

Co-founder Gregg Charbonneau previously told Eater that the new location will be "right on par with [the] Fort Point location" in terms of "product and level of service," but the Newbury Street outpost will benefit from the addition of a four-crucible Alpha Dominche Steampunk brewer. "This will enable us to offer and highlight our beautiful selection of Farm Direct origins by cup," he said.

In addition to espresso, coffee, and tea, Barrington carries pastries, yogurt, granola, and other light snacks.

Charbonneau founded the company more than 20 years ago with another fellow coffee lover, Barth Anderson. The duo met in college.
