Chez Henri has now been closed for a little over a year, and its replacement, Shepard (formerly known as Foret), is in the works. It could open as early as February at 1 Shepard Street, according to a post on the Chez Henri Facebook page around Thanksgiving. (The post also noted that Chez Henri chef/owner Paul O'Connell will do a few more pop-ups this winter, like he did in the spring.)

Austin Architects, a Cambridge-based firm, has some renderings up on its website, revealing a bright and airy dining room and a long bar.

UpStairs on the Square alum Susan Regis and Hi-Rise Bread Company owner Rene Becker are behind the upcoming restaurant, which they previously described as "French in spirit."
