Royal, a "local eatery," is heading towards a winter opening in Watertown, as reported earlier this month. The information presented in a Kickstarter campaign promises "sexy" dishes in the "New American/French" realm with a focus on "farm-to-table, local, organic foods."
Now, the restaurant has shared a sneak peek of its menu on Facebook. Here's a look at breakfast, which will be served from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. and includes deep-fried Oreos as well as scrambled Oreos. There are also some "express" options available to go, like an egg and cheese and meat sandwich with coffee, served as a combo for $7.
And for lunch and dinner, served from 11:30 a.m. to 1 a.m., the focus is on sandwiches, from a lobster grilled cheese to a duo of Los Angles street cart-style bacon-wrapped hot dogs.
The restaurant has a week left to go in its Kickstarter campaign, which is meant to cover some of the final equipment and renovation costs. So far, Royal has earned $2,095 out of the goal of $23,000.
