Townsman is chugging along towards a hotly anticipated winter opening, and owner Matt Jennings has been sharing plenty of updates on social media, including today's photo of the restaurant's shiny new "meat assassin."
Jennings writes, "It took months to source her. Weeks to get her shipped across the ocean. Days to convince customs to release her. And only seconds to fall in love with her."

As previously reported, Townsman's focus will be "lively, New England farmhouse dining," and there will be a raw bar and house-made charcuterie.
