Bon Me, which launched as a food truck in 2011, now has a small group of trucks and a brick-and-mortar location in Kendall Square. By the middle of December, there will be a second brick-and-mortar location, this one at 313 Congress Street in Fort Point. A press release announcing the impending opening describes the address as "the oldest existing building in the neighborhood." But the restaurant space itself will look anything but old, featuring "an ordering station that resembles a Bon Me food truck," a sleek communal table, and other "fun-and-friendly" aspects.

The Bon Me menu features Vietnamese-inspired sandwiches, noodle salads, rice bowls, and more, which can all be customized with a variety of fillings (Chinese barbecue pork, roasted soy and paprika tofu, etc.) and sauces.
