Truffle season is in full swing, and the treasured fungus is popping up at restaurants around town for those who are willing to empty their wallets a bit more than usual. Truffle enthusiasts may wish to count Giulia among their upcoming dinner plans as chef/owner Michael Pagliarini is fresh from a 10-day trip to Italy, which included a visit to the International White Truffle Fair.
He's spreading the love back home with a menu featuring the white truffle, which can be shaved table-side onto a variety of dishes, from prosciutto and semolina cakes to a bone-in ribeye. (Add it to any other dish on the menu for $75.)
Or get a less pricey taste of extravagant fungi by requesting shaved black winter truffles on any dish for $25.
