Amesbury, located so far up the North Shore that it's nearly in New Hampshire, is home to No. 8 Kitchen & Spirits, which opened in May. Executive chef Christopher Jackson is an alum of local spots including Catalyst, Dante, and Tico. If you never make it that far north, you can still get a taste of No. 8's menu at a pop-up at Tavern Road on Monday, November 17 at 7 p.m., part of the Chef's Studio monthly series in Tavern Road's TR Street Foods space.
Jackson will be preparing a four-course meal spanning from pate (pork pate wrapped with quail, grappa cured raisins, and pine nuts) to fried dough (apple butter, maple ice cream, milk jam, candied cranberries). Tickets are $55, which includes the food; alcohol will be available for purchase.
