Party of Two, the recurring pop-up duo comprised of Top Chef alum Stephanie Cmar (Stacked Donuts) and Justin Burke-Samson (Trademark Tarts), has made no secret of the fact that the goal for next year is a more permanent situation. Their recent pop-ups have provided a look at the possible vibe and some menu items for the upcoming brick-and-mortar, but the pair has not revealed any specifics about a timeline or location yet.
This Saturday, November 8, they'll host their final pop-up of 2014 before "taking the next few months to finalize a few things to bring something permanent to Boston in 2015," says Burke-Samson via a press release. "We’ve had an amazing year and are so grateful of everyone’s support," he writes. "Each pop-up has helped us develop a concept for our first brick and mortar that we’re very excited about."
Saturday's event, which is taking place at Stir in the South End beginning at 10 a.m., will bring back "fan favorites" like Cmar's donut breakfast sandwich and Burke-Samson's bacon jam pop tart. The event is cash only; donuts and tarts are $3, and the breakfast sandwich is $5.
While the duo will be focusing on the brick-and-mortar rather than pop-ups over the next months, they're still available for hire for catering gigs.
