This finally came despite some vocal opposition to the international chain, which now operates over 650 locations in seven different countries. The article went on to report that Caffè Nero "verbally agreed to several items in a 'Good Community Business Agreement' with the JP Neighborhood Council." One item in the agreement is a hiring preference for JP residents.
