A wonderfully alliterative Brookline pizza and sandwich shop appears to be nearing an opening, according to frequent progress reports on its Facebook page. Located at 415 Harvard Street in the former Ozzie's Pizza & Cafe space, Panelli's Pizza & Parm has the stated mission of "striving to make the best pizza and parm sandwiches possible." Most of the equipment appears to be in place, and pizza testing is underway.
Over on Instagram, there's documentation of some of that testing. There's the Texas Craig, for example: mozzarella, Aleppo pepper, basil, and chili oil, plus some parmesan after baking. Stay tuned for an imminent opening date.
