SYMPHONY — Chinese Mirch, a small Northeast chain with a location in Framingham, is opening a restaurant in Boston (251 Massachusetts Avenue), as reported back in April. According to a post today on Facebook, the opening is almost here. The chain serves "Chinese food, Indian flavors."
BROOKLINE VILLAGE — OISA Ramen, a ramen pop-up, will pop up at Martin's Coffee Shop on Tuesday, November 18. More details to come, but follow OISA on Facebook, because tickets will go on sale tomorrow morning. Update: Here's the event information. ($25 gets you salad, gyoza, tonkotsu ramen with handmade noodles, and dessert. Four seatings available between 5:30 p.m. and 8:15 p.m.)
NORTH END — Pomodoro is a step closer to moving into a new space (still on Hanover Street), now that the North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council has reversed its previous vote against allowing rezoning of the former jewelry shop at 204 Hanover. City officials still need to approve the measure.
