The space that formerly held Blue Inc. will reopen this weekend as Broad Street Riot, as previewed by the Dig, where general manager Andy Kilgore described it as a "New England oyster bar and Atlantic coast cookery." That "cookery" will come primarily from chef Mark Christian McMann (Ashmont Grill, Bistro Du Midi, Bergamot) and include a wide variety of oysters from both coasts.
The new look includes giant "RIOT" signage and a bar made in part from reclaimed wood from the dry-docked WWI vessel the USS Liberty, as well as a more open feel. You can check it out for yourself starting this Friday, November 14. In the meantime, here's a look at the menu.
