River Bar opens today, courtesy of Somerville restaurateur Ken Kelly (Brass Union, The Independent, Saloon, etc.), and the menu full of "elevated street food" (see below) comes courtesy of Staff Meal and Rialto alum Patrick Gilmartin.
Inside, 36 people can sip cocktails and eat foods like chorizo scotch quail eggs, but the real fun comes outside: a 126-seat patio, covered and heated in the winter. And there are fire pits.
River Bar serves lunch from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., weekend brunch from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., and dinner every night from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m., plus a late-night menu available until 12:45 p.m.
