The Watertown space on Main Street that was home to Verona Restaurant for over 40 years will soon be the newest location for the Ixtapa Mexican Grill & Cantina group, according to Boston Restaurant Talk. The Ixtapa family opened their first location in Lunenburg, MA in 2005, and has since expanded to include locations in Groton, Woburn, Lexington, and their newest outpost in Acton, which opened just last month.
Ixtapa offers a variety of Mexican-inspired dishes, from chimichangas and enchiladas to tacos and burritos. There are also burgers, salads, sandwiches, and more.
