Last Call at Daisy Buchanan's Will Be in Early November

Those looking to have one last drink at Daisy Buchanan’s will need to do so before November 6 or 7, as a Boston Herald article has reported that after that the Newbury Street stalwart will close its doors for good. Earlier this spring it was reported that the building in which Daisy’s has occupied the ground floor since 1970 had been sold, and that its new owners planned on developing the building into high-end retail space.

In a curious side note, the story also reported that over the weekend the sign to Daisy’s had been stolen, for which the restaurant is offering a $500 dollar reward, "no questions asked."
