Anju Noodle Bar will be making the trip down from Maine for a one-night-only pop-up experience on November 13 at South Boston's Urban Art bar, where Anju chef Gary Kim will offer a three-course prix-fixe dinner for $25. The event will feature wines specially paired to the dinner, along with a welcome "cocktail shot" by LIQS Cocktail Shots and specialty cocktails by Deep Eddy Vodka.
Kim and his business partner Julian Armstrong opened Anju Noodle Bar in Kittery this past May, along with a line of prepared foods, Sonmat Foods, including spicy Napa kimchi and a hot sauce, both of which are available locally at Formaggio Kitchen and Dave's Fresh Pasta. The event serves to "extend [Kim and Armstrong's] reach to the Boston area," according to a press release.
The dinner will hold two seatings, at 6:00 and 8:00 pm, and reservations can be made online at theurbanartbar.com/anjunoodle.
