Fugu Truck Has Left the Road

Fugu Truck is off the road for good, reports Hub Food Trucks, noting that they're selling the truck. Fugu served Asian street food (but not fugu, the fish that can fatally poison a diner if not prepared properly and is thus treated as a delicacy). The name of the truck "embodie[d] the discipline, dedication, and sophistication" the team hoped to bring to their food, according to the website.

Fugu Truck last vended at SoWa earlier this month, and a message posted on the truck's website indicates that "mechanical problems" forced them to end their season early. No word on whether the business might continue in another vein or who'll get the truck.
