As is tradition for theme weeks here on Eater Boston, we'll be running a week-long poll. This time, we're virtually crowning the hottest cocktail neighborhood in the Boston area. Will it be the always-growing-hotter Union Square in Somerville, with its hidden cocktail gems, like Backbar and Casa B? Or maybe you prefer the Boston side of the river, and perhaps the South End in particular meets your drinking needs, from The Gallows to Toro and beyond?
Leave a comment below making the case for your favorite cocktail neighborhood(s) by 10 p.m. tonight (Monday, October 20). We'll sort through your suggestions and build out the brackets, which will then open for voting tomorrow morning. The field will narrow throughout the week until the winner is picked on Friday.
