Angelo's Coal Fired Pizza opens today in Quincy Center. As previously reported, Patrick Cross of The Thirsty Scholar Pub in Somerville is involved with opening Angelo's, which according to its website will look "to bring you a fun and high-energy restaurant where you can celebrate amazing comfort food from [their] custom coal-fired ovens." Adding to that, "These ovens represent a return to the traditional cooking methods long embraced by pizza chefs from Naples to New York."
The restaurant is open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
