Construction finally appears to be nearing completion at Night Market, the upcoming Harvard Square restaurant taking over the former Tamarind Bay basement-level space. The restaurant has been sharing some encouraging photos on Instagram, and a new job posting on BostonChefs.com, seeking candidates for various back-of-house positions, indicates that they're aiming for a fall opening.
Night Market will serve a "wide variety of Asian street food," with recent Instagram posts hinting at pistachio macarons ("tastes like astronaut ice cream"), dessert lumpia with caramel dipping sauce, curry popcorn shrimp, chicken wings, and slushy cocktails.
