De Pasquale Ventures, the group behind Bricco, Mare, Quattro, and other restaurants and venues in the North End and beyond, is adding a new restaurant in the North End, according to a Craigslist job posting. Acqua Seafood and Grill, a "premier outdoor restaurant," is aiming for a mid-spring opening. No address is given, but the restaurant group recently purchased the Ida's space on Mechanic St., and a neighborhood council agenda indicated that De Pasquale wanted to add a 48-seat patio there.
UPDATE: A licensing document confirms that Acqua is indeed headed for the Ida's space.
