The address: 303 Sumner Street, Boston, MA 02128 (East Boston)
The damage: $649,000 ($231.79 per square foot)
303 Cafe closed in late 2012, and the 2,800-square-foot space is now for sale; it "could be used for breakfast, lunch and dinner and is in turn-key condition," according to its listing on LoopNet, which also notes that it's "completely renovated," "up to code," and "in very good condition." There's space for 38 seats inside, plus the possibility of outdoor seating in the front and in the "good sized back yard."
Other features, according to reviews of the former tenant, include high ceilings, lots of exposed brick, hardwood floors, and a pressed tin ceiling. Who will be the one to bring the space back to life?
