Chez Henri closed late last year after nearly two decades of serving up French and Cuban cuisine between Porter and Harvard Square, but chef/owner Paul O'Connell has been keeping busy with some catering, and now, he's popping back up at Mariposa Bakery on February 28th from 6pm to 11pm. Reservations are required; call (617) 642-1722. The menu will include slow-roasted pork Cuban sandwiches (as well as veggie Cubans), French onion soup gratinee, chicken and spinach empanadas, conch fritters with guava barbecue sauce, and more. Additional events could be on the way in the future, according to Chez Henri's general manager Beth Schunke, but for now, jump on this one while you can. Space is limited.
