A restaurant called Homage Bistro is heading to a mystery Cambridge spot that is "a Cambridge culinary landmark and has been home to award-winning restaurants for the last 40 years," according to a job posting on BostonChefs.com, first noticed by Boston Restaurant Talk. Furthermore, according to the job posting, the "ownership team has a combined 20 years of hospitality and small business management and has a been a fixture in the Cambridge restaurant scene for more than a decade." And the posting, which is for an executive chef, promises that the 50-seat space will be a "neighborhood farm-to-table restaurant combining the food and cultures of Southern France, Spain, North Africa & the Near East with the finest local, sustainable & artisan products."
No address or names are provided, but two social media signs interestingly point to the same conclusion — it has something to do with Ten Tables. An Homage Bistro Twitter account is only currently followed by seven other accounts, one of which is Ten Tables, and a totally empty Facebook page shows up with the name Homage Bistro and the address 5 Craigie Circle...which is Ten Tables. At this point, it's unclear whether the restaurant will actually replace Ten Tables at that location (which is indeed quite a legendary address) or if it's just the team that's involved with a different location (and concept) in the works. Stay tuned for more info, and hit up the tipline with any intel.
