Mondays at Sweet Cheeks: Not-Quite-Late-Night Ramen

Photo: Cal Bingham

Sweet Cheeks is resurrecting its Ramen Mondays from last winter, so now you know what you should be eating between 9pm and 10pm tonight and every Monday as long as the weather makes sense for ramen binges. While the recipe will change every few weeks, the ramen is currently tonkotsu-style, made from pork bones and chicken, boiled for about three days. The result is a thick, rich broth filled with noodles, pork belly, black garlic oil, scallions, and other appropriate accoutrements. The damage is $15, and the window is only an hour long as the restaurant closes at 10pm on Mondays, so snag a seat right at 9pm and laugh in winter's face with a steaming bowl of ramen.
