Boston's Next Food Truck Will Be a Macaron Truck

Ice cream's been on wheels for decades, and more recently, other desserts have been following suit (cupcakes and crepes roll around locally, thanks to trucks like Kickass Cupcakes and La Tour Eiffel.) Boston's next sweet addition to the food truck scene? Macarons. Cameo Macaron is getting ready to launch very soon; the truck is "nearing the finish line," according to a recent Instagram post.

While the truck itself is new, Cameo Macaron has already been baking up a storm for special events. According to Facebook, flavors like salted caramel crunch, chocolate raspberry, currant, rose petal, and Nutella have made appearances. Owner Kinesha Goldson studied abroad in Paris, hence the love of macarons, according to an interview on HerCampus. Stay tuned for a launch date.
