What's the Fate of Figs in Charlestown?

Yesterday, an Eater tipster wrote in to note that the Charlestown location of Todd English's Figs had suddenly stopped serving beer and wine. Today, a poster on Chowhound writes that it closed, but an employee reached at the restaurant by telephone early this afternoon said that they are in fact open. What's going on at Figs? UPDATE: Susan Holaday of Foodservice East notes that the "Boston Licensing Bureau confirms that Figs' license is 'still active.'"
