Davide, Once Featured on 'Kitchen Nightmares,' Closes

Davide, a North End restaurant featured on Gordon Ramsay's Kitchen Nightmares in 2011, has closed, Boston Restaurant Talk reports. The 21-year-old restaurant focused on Northern Italian cuisine. According to a November post on Twitter, the restaurant was sold but remained open through much of December.

A Facebook post from a month ago indicates that co-owner Anthony Gesualdi is starting up a "politically incorrect" North End tour company in the wake of the closure. "Like anything else life goes on," he writes. "It is time to venture out to new and exciting opportunities."
