Leaving his position as chef at Citizen Public House, Brian Young is now originating the gig of chef de cuisine at Post 390. A rep for Post 390 confirms Young will be in charge of the tavern menu as well as events, and Eric Brennan remains as executive chef.
The New England Culinary Institute grad made his Boston debut as a line cook at Harvest, where he eventually rose to the position of executive sous chef. No word yet on what his menu will include, but he is known to have a keen interest in whole-animal charcuterie. A source at Citizen was unsure if a new chef has been hired there as of yet.
