Sadly Literal Breaking News: Zoe's Facade Collapses

The facade of the building housing two of Somerville's Beacon St. gems, Zoe's Chinese and Mixtura, collapsed this morning, reports Universal Hub, citing several tweets about the incident near Porter Square. It's unclear at this time whether there were any injuries and for how long the restaurants will have to close for structural work and other repairs. NECN has helicopter footage from the scene. UPDATE: Boston.com reports that no one was injured, according to Deputy Chief Paul Upton of the Somerville police. The sidewalk will be closed for most of the day.

UPDATE 2: The owner of Mixtura estimates that he'll be closed for at least a month — as the best-case scenario.
