Momofuku's David Chang Pays Boston a Food-Filled Visit

Boston was briefly graced with the presence of Momofuku's David Chang on Tuesday and Wednesday. Chang (a vocal Jack Purcell fan) was in town to judge the Converse Food Truck Challenge in which Converse employees tried their hand at trucking, splitting into teams and boarding participating area trucks (Mei Mei Street Kitchen, Pennypacker's, Roxy's Grilled Cheese, etc.) as the company prepares to move their offices from North Andover into Boston.

The teams brainstormed over a menu item to complement their given truck and presented the special to a panel of guest judges, Chang included. While in town, he managed to squeeze in a meal at Tim Maslow's Strip-T's and a visit with Kristen Kish at Menton.
