A new comedy club, Laugh Boston, is opening in the Westin Seaport Waterfront Hotel this Saturday, September 21st, where you can giggle wildly while devouring snacks like fried hot dogs. The team behind it isn't new to the scene: Chet Harding and Norm Laviolette have owned Improv Asylum in the North End for sixteen years, while John Tobin has two decades of experience opening and managing comedy clubs around the state.

The 300-seat club will serve cocktails with comedy-themed names like — brace yourself for these — Knock Knock, S'plaining to Do, Too Soon?, and The Rim Shot. And for the extra-thirsty, there are scorpion bowls and the like. Aside from the fried hot dogs, there are a few panini and flatbreads to eat, plus lighter snacks like sweet potato fries, pretzel bites, and hummus with naan and olives.

Saturday night's grand opening show features Mike Donovan, Ira Proctor, and Will Noonan. Tickets are $25.
